By using SpecEvo, you agree to these terms. SpecEvo is a free, collaborative speculative-evolution tool. Please read on.

The service

SpecEvo lets you apply environmental pressures to creatures and grow a shared tree of life. Everything it generates is AI-produced speculation, grounded in real evolutionary mechanisms but not scientific fact. Please do not rely on it as a source of biological truth.

Your account

If you sign in, keep access to your email secure, since the magic link is how you log in. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

• Do not abuse the service, attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape it, or overload it.
• Do not use it to create or distribute illegal, hateful, or harmful content.
• Do not impersonate other people or misuse usernames.

Your content

Content you create is public and becomes part of a shared, branching tree that other people can view and extend. By creating it, you grant SpecEvo the right to store, display, and let others build on it within the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Availability and warranty

SpecEvo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is a free, evolving project: features may change, and the service may be unavailable or discontinued at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SpecEvo and its makers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. Continuing to use SpecEvo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
