Why it evolved

With abundant food, selection favoured individuals capable of exploiting this surplus. The Ash Strider Glutton has evolved a rapid growth capacity and increased reproductive rate, allowing it to quickly reach larger sizes that can better withstand competition from smaller threats. However, this rapid metabolism makes them highly dependent on the consistent availability of prey. Their Resonance ability, while still present, has become less about refined hunting and more about broadcasting presence to ward off rivals, a trade-off that reduces their fine-tuned predatory senses, leaving them vulnerable to the specialized hunting Resonance of larger predators like the Titan Breaker.
