The unusual plenty of Geothermal Pneume has driven selection for exploiting this resource. Increased size and a specialized digestive tract allow for more efficient consumption of the Pneume, while faster reproduction capitalizes on this stable food supply. However, this specialization comes at the cost of reduced sensory range, as it relies less on actively hunting and more on the predictable availability of the Pneume, making it vulnerable if the Pneume population crashes. This adaptation is feasible in the geothermally active, low-light caves of Frosthearth, where the Pneume thrives.
